I’m a writer living and working in London. I have a BA in English and an MA in Contemporary Literature and Culture, both from UCL. I write cultural criticism, hovering between the academic and the experimental. You can find my recent work here, organised by subject.

I also write fiction, creative non-fiction, and drama. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary work and work that tackles questions of form, as well as mental illness; femininity; pop music; relationality and selfhood; fashion; and more.

In addition to my critical and creative practices, I’m a speaker and workshop facilitator. I tend to focus on creative and critical writing, freelance tips, and neurodiversity life skills. You can find out more about this kind of work here, and you can sign up to my writing tips newsletter on Patreon.

I’m a resident artist with Hiatus Collective and I’ve worked with Ruckus Collective for the last few years; I delivered four workshops for Ruckus Writes in 2020. If you’d like to discuss working together, find out more here.

  • The Difficult Matter for irregular missives on whatever takes my fancy (usually pop culture) – past letter subjects have included selfhood, Lorde, and the void;
  • Tactics for more regular communiqués on cooking, crafting, and other textural pursuits.
